Anika started operatic vocal training at 12 years old. At 14 she changed course and switched to musical theatre. She began vocal lessons in NYC and was the youngest person to have her own cabaret show at the legendary Don’t Tell Mama’s on Restaurant Row in Manhattan at 15. She continued to do her own cabaret shows in venues throughout Manhattan for 10 years. In between that time she continued to study voice, acting, vocal performance and music theory. She was also cast in two Broadway National Tours, “Into the Woods” as Little Red and “The Little Prince”, as The Little Prince. Anika continues to study voice and vocal performance and truly enjoys teaching all that she has learned to younger children who want to pursue their dreams.
