Scene Study Course Archives

This course covers the basic acting techniques necessary to perform scenes for television dramas and situational comedies while engaging with scene partners. Students will learn the technique of truly listening, genuinely reacting and responding to their scene partners, as opposed to just taking turns reading lines from a piece of paper. This course includes, but is not limited to slating, on-set lingo, cold reading sides, script analysis, characterizations, timing, pacing, rhythm, auditions and table reads.
